I agree, with his measurables you dont have to have elite speed and 4.6ish is plenty good enough

Davis is going to be offered during his meeting with the staff this week. I think they just want to talk to him one on one before offering. He could commit on the spot.

Commence recruiting board meltdown... I trust the coaching staff (Les, Cam and Co.) They know what they are doing. Y'all should too.
Ex) you don't sign, fournette, dupre, valentine and clifton garret in the same class if you exercise poor judgement on recruiting.

Wow. This board is much calmer that 247 board right now. People are in meltdown mode over there. Folks are complaining about how late we offer some recruits, bringing up the few recruits who left the state last season, and ripping the LSU staff. We signed the #2 recruiting class last year which might turnout to be our best ever but people are still bitching about the ones who got away. For example, people are killing the staff for not offering Carter earlier, lol. The kid hasn't even played his junior year yet.

I was about to head over there, but not anymore. Like everyone else, I thought Davis would get his offer today. I wouldn't be surprised if the staff just wants to sit down with him before offering though. It'll likely happen in the next week or two IMO.

Coaches want to make sure he's not an A&M thug and his grades are where they need to be which they were implying were not great at the moment.
He didn't look like a #1 WR at the camp.
But because Rivals and 247 scouts message board gurus that's obviously seen him play throughout his career, OFFER HIM IMMEDIATELY!
