How does this even work? It’s the off-season, so what are they even basing this off of? I’ve seen the film and we are definitely getting the best corner in the nation. frick dat! LINK

It’s because Ringo was very close behind I think 3 spots it was and then ESPN made Ricks the #41 player in the nation which affected the composite

Just seems weird they’d do it in May. If it happened during the season after a couple bad games or something that would make more sense

Not really, especially if you follow recruiting. There are numerous updates throughout the year, I'm not sure when their last update was before this recent one. But you have junior film to evaluate, spring camps, and 7on7 events. Other factors also come in to play.

At some point it damages 247's product right? I understand the point is to have multiple sources but if one of the sources is no where near reliable or have any idea what they are doing then what purpose does that serve?

ESPN is just stupid remember last year when Rivals and 247 had Stingley ranked 1 and 6, Espn had him 80th they ranked him 18th at the end and it was way too low, even with that he finished 3rd in composite.

ESPN and their bullshite ratings system can DIAF for all I care.
And honestly I don't care what national rank our recruiting class is, as long as we keep loading up on studs at positions of need.

I've seen both and no way Stingley's is better. Nothing against Stingley but Ricks is a damn ball hawk in his film. The dude flat out picks EVERYTHING!!
