Do not be surprised to see his teammate Harris receive an offer from Texas a&m.

If a kid does not want to be a Tiger, see ya!! My days of getting upset over a 18 year old kid making a decision have been over. Next kid up because there will always be the next kid up!

Kids making real life decisions based off their friends is absolutely retarded

I've watched people hire their friends into 6 figure jobs with options for equity. For no other reason than they attended the same school and drank together for a few years. Not sure I'd call either retarded. But I never underestimate the power of familiarity.

This is why you see so many kids transferring out of schools they had no heart in being at. Once they are away from their family and friends and reality sets in it is a huge eye opener for some.

I will say this Divinity thing makes zero sense to me but then again we are trying to figure out 18 year old's. It could be as simple as a piece of pussy that he likes is going to A&M

I will also say that if we don't get LBers filled up in this class we will be seriously hurting. I have to believe in Steele and O that they know what they are doing.

I use to get excited about kids committing to LSU but now I just wait until they sign on the dotted line

Haha I can't explain it. I follow recruiting loosely and I can't remember feeling like this about getting a kid except for maybe LF7.

This makes no sense.

I think he has to just be trying to get his moment in the spotlight.

I trust he'll be a Fightin' Tiger from LSU.

Yeah, its just not worth it.
I’ll monitor from afar these days, but I hardly get worked up over verbal agreements from 16/17/18 year old kids.

NSD is a whole different animal though. I stay at home from work to watch ESPN U and follow this board

I would say it's the antics about firing Les Miles, but based on what is going on with the aggies calling for Sumlin's head and talking about replacements, and the way players are bailing on the program, aggie is less stable than LSU at the moment.

Divinity wants to play with Harris.....it'll be at A&M if LSU doesn't offer Harris.

Pretty simple

Seems like ridiculous timing to decommit but 18 year olds do many ridiculous things.

Hope to see this young man as an LSU Tiger.

From the NCAA.org site

December 14, 2015, through January 13, 2016: [applicable to all prospective student-athletes (see Bylaw 13.02.5.5.2)]: Dead Period

So he's making his announcement eight days before the Dead Period ends[?] If he's still an EE to wherever he commits, what's to gain here? Doesn't seem to be any opportunity to be "courted". Only thought is that:
1. He wants to visit with others at the All Star Games; and or
2. He wants time to watch and analyze both teams' performance in their respective bowl games.

Does this have anything to say about any possible concerns he may have with the status of either Steele or Peveto?
