That kid is good. REALLY good. A natural LB like he was born to play the position. Just maybe not there on speed. We could use him on DL but he's a natural LB...
Either way he's going D1, and from the looks of it, will be making lots of tackles.

Not that bad of a player.
Needs some work on technique and probably not the best of closing speed, but could develop into a suitable player for a some schools.

he won't be the first player to make a splash in D-1 ball that LSU passed on nor will he be the last one.
Guys like Damaris Johnson, Jeremy Stewart, Frank Alexander, Herman Lathers (to an extent), Dallas Thomas and probably Otha Peters, to name a few, have become starters and/or stars on their respective teams and we always come full circle to ask why LSU never offered. It's just how it is...LSU can't take them all.
Shaan Washington, this kid, Claiborne, Ellis...A&M got some pretty good players in this class from LA. With how LSU is recruiting OOS, it's no surprise that it's A&M that is taking full advantage of it.
