He is very similar to Amari Cooper at Bama to me more so than our past WRs.

I don't know if I expect Dupre to be a better player than RR. That's a tall order

I know. And im a huge RR fan and think the world of the guy. And I still expect Dupre to be better. Similar size and stature as RR, but Dupre is on a diff level athletically. 41+inch vert and runs in the 4.5s right now.

We havent had a WR where you can throw it up to him in coverage and he goes up and gets it over a DB in a long time. We have that with Dupre. He can go up and make some ridiculous acrobatic catches over DBs. Best jump ball WR to come out since AJ Green.

And its not like thats all he can do. Extremely polished WR when it comes to route running and catching the ball away from his body with his hands. And plays in the veer offense, he knows how to run block. IMO, hes the best overall WR prospect to come out since the 2008 year with AJ Green and Julio.

Dont really see the Clayton comparison.

Dupre isn't any of those guys because he is more athletic than most, shorter than a few, bigger than others, and has better hands than all of them. (Watch tape)

He will end up being a three year starter. Book it now. 1-2 rounder here.

Agree, he's more athletic. He doesn't appear as physical as Clayton/Bowe and maybe even RR, but dude's got serious hops and seems to have hands. Def. ready to see him in P&G.

I say none of them. Think he will establish a new precedent for receiver along with Quinn. Dupre athleticism is off the charts.

He doesnt remind me of any former tiger. I'm sticking with Plaxico B. with how he catches the ball away from his body and leaping ability.

That's not bad either. He's a lengthy guy that will be able to go up and get the ball.

If he fills out and becomes more physical, he could be a redzone monster.

El Oh El. JC ran the veer. Once he adds size+strength in the off season, I fully expect he'll be just a physical as Juice or Bowe.

Super excited about this kid

I know you are kidding, but guess what...we got that clone as well in Trey Quinn.

Except Quinn's measurables are better than Welker imo

Welker- 5'9, 185, 4.65 40
Quinn- 6'1, 200, 4.39 40

And his hands? Well his numbers are very telling that his hand are just as good as Welker.
