The article says he's an "athlete" and he "will hopefully play somewhere on offense, possibly receiver."

Right. And if not, then probably at CB. I don't think we'll see him at RB, so it doesn't affect what LSU will do here on out at the RB position.

I agree, probably CB or WR. However, the Wizard does like to keep a versatile set of RB's, so he could be used like Trindon. Either way, he's the versatile kind of player that coaches love because you can find the place for him once things fall out and the true needs are established.

With that speed and quickness, could also be useful in the return game.

That's a super point. (see the Wizard's situational chart). Guy looks like he can carry the ball once you get it to him.

God, are we experiencing an embarressment of riches or what? Last year we filled needs, this year we just stock the cupboards. Keep piling it on.

What's his projected position??

With the amount and quality of RBs that we can get, I think Calhoun will be a defensive back (DB). And, LA looks to be somewhat weak in that area from what I gather from Dandy Don, Scout, and Rivals, combined with this guy's height, weight, and speed. That's my educated guess.

With his offer list, i couldnt imagine him being any lower than a 5.9 4*. IMO

a lot of good 3* can pile up offers if they have good grades/behavior. Teams will offer b/c there is no risk factor, looks like a 3* on film, and IMO im not that impressed w/ him as a rb, although his offer list is impressive for this early. wish i could see some db film on him

For the record, compare his list with Derrick Bryant's. Look at Bryant's rating.

Why are we assuming he's a 3 star (re: ***Drayton Calhoun ATH from Georgia commits to LSU*** ). Rivals and scout only have their top 100 players out right now. Rivals still have 150 more 4 stars to add.

was it necessary for scike to refer to him as a "georgia peach"?

also, he does indeed look a lot like chris johnson.
