Rivals list. Apparently the UGA mod has been talking him up big the last couple of weeks, and was moving him into the top 15 of Georgia rankings. He was Georgia's #1 CB target according to them.

great news, appears like a CB

tons of athleticism..plays RB for Tucker (they produce a lot of Div 1 players) but will play Cb for them his senior year to. most teams are recruiting him as a cb anyways so probably best he plays some there before moving on to college. one of UGA's top targets I think since we are going to lose some cb's after this year and he is probably the best on in GA right now anyways. EDIT: wow didnt see he had committed to you guys..that sucks

Very good. UGA mod has been talking him up a lot lately. We were hopeful with him. RB in hs, but many project him as a CB in college. From a good program as well. Solid pickup. Congrats Tigers.

He's a stud. Didn't expect this at all. It stings.

Yeah I believe he will be top 10 in the state. UGA wanted him bad but at CB, not O. I think that might be the big difference. From what we are told he has all the making for a LOCK down CB. He does have the potential to be very good on Offense as well but I believe CB is his best bet for the NFL.

Nice, thanks Books.
By the way I always chuckle when I see that pic of Miles.

Whether he plays corner, RB or wide receiver, he should contribute if he can stay healthy. Just hope the Tigers can keep him away from the Dawgs!

Golden Boy, let me whisper something to you:

If you lurk on other SEC boards on occassion you'll learn some things about other teams... then you'll know what more informed posters about a certain school - such as UGA - know to be true about their teams recruiting/targets.. shhh, don't spread the secret

Yes, Derby you know everything. Let me guess, you still can't prove Riley and Sheppard had non-committable offers.

I can't believe y'all let Derby get y'all that bothered. He's really not that bad of a guy. He has his opinions and he's not scared to post 'em, whether they're right or wrong. He's not afraid of the people who spaz out over his opinions and the backlash he'll receive. You can't say that about a lot of people on here.

join one of the UGA boards and ask them for yourself... when we took their commits the common message was they were not serious UGA targets

they think I like to frick with 'em or something, Rocket... I notice that you can't say anything that is not positive - especially about commits - about LSU and not get flamed on this board...

its like every player we take a commitment from is a fricking All-American or something just because they chose us and we chose them

but derby, you went on to say that Riley was offered by UGA, now you are saying he wasn't?

I think he was offered late - but not Sheppard... as of the time we took there commitments neither Riley or Sheppard had committable offers per dawgs.com

again, this doesn't mean they SUCK, but there is reason for concern because afterall, the home state knows them better then anybody 98% of the time

Nah, he doesn't really bother me. I just don't understand why he's so ignorant.

He was offered in March of his Junior year...in fact Georgia was his first offer. It's hard for me to believe he wasn't a legit target for UGA when they offered him fairly early.

I'm not sure of the history of this argument, but I just wanted to clarify this.

<can of worms - reopen>

he could not have committed to UGA with the "offer" he had
