Take your pick of the monsters on our board, timing for the commit, and why.

CRob would be huge to commit immediately. Would give added incentive to Harris(if he truly is having any doubts) and several others that would be lining up next to him and running behind him

LF would have a Nkemdiche type effect because he has so much star power

Hardeman was key because he has been in the ear of so many other LSU targets.

LF

Because he truly is the no.1 player period.

With his commitment now and his help....this class could become GOAT

IMO Harris is the guy to get the ball rolling. I expect to hear from him and Cliff Garret soon and maybe some others at the upcoming camp. Noil and the big names are not going to come til Jan.

But not necessarily in that order.

I think Harris will have the biggest impact if he chooses us. Most of the other LA kids are not as energetic and outgoing as him.

Harris… we need a north LA guy to sorta put the idea up there that they are still a part of THIS state and that they should play for their STATE university….

while i think CRob is definitely leaning heavily to Bama, maybe a north LA guy, who can help recruit for us once committed, can help turn the tide, no pun intended...

Yes and it takes the right type of person. Harris has made it clear when he commits he will be the biggest recruiter for that school. Some kids just aren't comfortable doing that. Although LF is the most import recruit this year I don't think he would be as much of a recruiter as BH.

I really think it would be Gerald Willis. Get him, we get Noil, we get Dupre, we get Dupre, we get Kenny. If we get them, we get LF. The NOLA guys want to play togather.

GW3 or just 1 of the NOLA guys would be the perfect domino effect.

exactly why he's the BIGGEST piece out there right now… sure Fournette has more sizzle, but if you look at it, we HAVE to have a QB in every class, so we don't do through '08 again, and the dude is gonna be in everyone's ear about LSU…

would it be enough to get CRob…. maybe, maybe not… but it can't hurt our chances…

he won't recruit at all… he's pretty much said as much… which is fine, but if i were a recruit, from the state of LA, i'd make sure each one of the other prized recruits know the honor and privilege it would be to represent YOUR state playing for the STATE school…. if you can turn your back on that, then, peace be with you, but they'd know, that at LSU you don't just play for the school, you play for the state...

I too see a huge value in Harris. CRob and Harris was a twofor. Harris is much bigger than a lot of people think due to the aforementioned region and his want/chest to recruit for us.

I am specifically speaking of the domino effect and not just the intrinsic value of the player alone.

I guess I was hoping more for everyone to state timing. Like CRob on NSD at 8AM and LF announcing at 9AM.

Or speak to the value of having them fall earlier to allow for more time to openly recruit

Of all the things I've read about Harris, I like this the most. Shows he's a leader. Excited to have kids like him in the class.

This for sure. I also think that having a more athletic QB is beneficial for linemen and left tackles specifically. His mobility means less sacks given up by the line. The same for Jennings mobility. They can move around in the pocket with ease and if shite goes down they can avoid pressure with a scramble
