I do. He admitted previously that he was trying to build thru recruiting first and portal second. And that is what we have seen. We paid whatever it took to get Perkins, and McKinnley. They put up big money on Underwood and had the kid wanting to come here until it got ridiculous. People are overlooking that we were offering Underwood a lot of money. I imagine we are shelling out nicely to keep Pickett. And the stud Soloman Thomas is coming to the game Saturday. I think we pay him and he becomes a tiger.
I don't want to see us become A&M desperate. Managing the looker room is still a thing. But Kelly knows it's win or go somewhere else. I believe him when he says his mindset has adjusted.

No. And on the outside chance they are, their evaluation of portal players hasn’t been awe inspiring other than the 2 DT’s

I don't believe anything he says.
I think he moves from one lie to the next like a conman.
This wasn't my impression at first, it is something that has become apparent by watching him operate.

You can be in the melting group if you want. I choose to recognize that it is hard to win and that some seasons we will have an extra loss or two. Too many fairy weathered fans that act like it is easy. Kelly is not Saban, but who is?

Not really. Being unranked in year 3 of a $100M head coach is completely unacceptable. Our fanbase has every right to be very upset with Brian Kelly and the state of his program.

They will be aggressive in recruiting in general, or they will fail. The bigger issue may be that BK’s ability to assess talent, both in recruiting and in pre-season player evals, has been crap.

i don't trust ANYTHING to do with Kelly... at this point, i just hope he doesn't cause catastrophic damage to the brand, b/c he's not exactly helping it
