we will just have white, divinity, queen and two incoming recruits. 5 scholarship lbs looks really thin.

Queen, Taylor, and Phillips will be sophomores. Taylor has started and Phillips has played. Queen on ST. Clark and Bakersville will be true frosh, two highly rated LBs.

on the outside, Chaisoon, Thornton, Anthony, and Martin. Chaisson and Thornton both played this year. Anthony has gotten rave reviews and if he comes back healthy should contribute. Hopefully Martin can recover from injuries, doghouse, etc.

Bruh?

LB depth not counting Arden Key, Donnie Alexander, and the rest of the seniors.

B-OLB - Chaisson, Anthony, Martin
MiLB - Taylor, Phillips, Garnett
RiLB - White, Queen
F-OLB - Thornton, Divinity

Why are you insisting we are thin at lb? We aren’t thin at linebacker. You admittedly forgot two high caliber players and someone just posted the depth chart. Sooooo...

Where is Rosenthal projected to play if he doesn't play OT?

We are not thin at LB. But thinking we fix that through recruiting is wrong headed. If we were going to be thin at LB next year you fix that by recruiting well last year and the year before, not this year. Unless you get a freak prodigy you can't fix that with a true freshman. We've seen Minter, Beckwith, Phillips and Taylor all prove to be inadequate as true freshmen. And those guys are studs.

Regardless of depth, each year LSU should take three linebackers, not counting the "Bench" LB which is really sort of a lineman. If we don't have enough in the two-deep we can patch it with a JUCO. Other than that we'll just have to suck. And that's the usual answer. JUCO rarely solves the problem.

Jacoby Stevens will absolutely be a LB, and a good one.

Stevens needs to settle in at one position. Watched him closely on the sidelines last 2 home games. Kid looks depressed that he isn't playing!!!

He is at 225 or so and can run, has a nasty streak as well, had some great hits on punt returns this year.

DE or maybe NT, likely DE. He is a massive human being. Looks to be about 6'7 330 right now or so. He could contribute right away at DE next year.
