At least he's doing it the right way.
If he decides to go elsewhere so be it.
RB's will always be aplenty in the state of LA
Would love to have him and I think he is better than Hilliard
I can understand he wants immediate playing time and that might be hard to come by next year with Ridley and Ford back.
At Bama, he could play behind Richardson and it would not shock me if he beat out Lacy, anywhere else I have no idea about other schools

I agree... rather him do it like this than say the way Janzen Jackson did us

Hill is taking an OV to Tennessee. Is he a Bama lock?

Ya, we are pretty stocked with big backs between Ridley, Ware, and Hilliard. Never want to lose a top in state prospect, but RB is one position that we can afford it.

Hill is definitely handling things well. It's the right thing to do if he's not sure and wants to take a bunch of visits. Wish more kids could handle themselves this way (looking at you Janzen).

I agree with everything but this. You may be right, but Hill is not even in the top 300 on Rivals and Hilliard is like 25 overall. I understand these sites aren't always correct, but I will pose a question. How much of Hill's success can be directly attributed to running between the 7 and 0 in the number 70 that Laell Collins wears..I like the pedigree that Hilliard comes in with; Dalton's nephew.

I hope Hill recommits because you can never have too many good RB's but LSU is fine with or without him; Ridley, Ford, Ware, and Hilliard in the near future toting the rock.

He is an LSU Lean still... it will take a lot for any team to take him from LSU

He's handling it well and I think his parents are doing the right thing in at least telling him to look at other schools to make sure LSU is the right place. The kid still loves LSU and it's more than likely he winds back up here.

You never know who's going to perform well in college and while we may have an abundance of RBs right now, it's better to have too many than to have what happened to us last year

I disagree on Hill ending up at LSU. When I did an interview with him back in March, he choose his words wisely. He said a lot of things like,"I am committed to LSU at this time.", and so on. After the show, I stated to the other guys on the panel that he wont be going to LSU. I dont want to act like a know it all because I am not, but when you talk to a kid for an hour you can really get a good feel for where his head is at. I have interviewed tons of kids and it is always very obvious to me what kids are going to end up doing even when they dont directly say it. IMO, Hill will not end up at LSU.

I'm not saying I'm convinced he'll sign with Alabama, but is it not odd he did this right after his official to Alabama? He's visited Alabama several times un-officially as well. And believe, or not, he might would play sooner at Alabama. LSU's RBs are younger than Alabama's.

not really Capstone... i knew of the family issues the week before he visited. It's nothing against Bama at all, but this isn't your normal decommit for playing time, or because he visited another school. His family is going through a lot and wants to make the right choice for not the next 4 years of his life, but the next 40 years.

I know I'm just giving you a hard time. Although he seemed like he lost a step this year IMO.

We're gonna have three 5* RBs waiting in line though, that's pretty

(Ford, Ware, Hilliard)

He was fine until he got hurt against LSU. And it didn't help things that the OL was banged up half the season. He'll bust out next year as the primary RB.

Capstone you know as well as the rest of us that Richardson will be gone after next year. He's not going to affect Hill at all.Lacy and Crowell(if you guys get him) will be all he's worried about.Your post is true though because we have much more depth(young as well) at Rb than you guys do so that does play in you guys favor.

On another note are you guys just reserved to the fact that Ingram is gone or is there still the chance he stays? Thanks.

Everyone tends to forget about Magee. I have a feeling he will be a stud for LSU, in football and baseball!

Ingram is gone. ANY RB that can get a good draft status should go. Those guys get beat on and are done in the NFL to quickly.
