Are you under the impression that LSU is the ONLY “$200 Million program” in CFB? We’re not even the Top $$ program in the SEC let alone all of Football.
Plus its not just $$. All these Coaches know each other & none want to burn their bridges or step over an extremely sick Coach thats going through a medical emergency. Plus what HC would want an assistant coach that would drop his current team a couple weeks before the start of the season just because he would be payed a little more at the new school?

We have 17 DL on the roster, we lose 2 Sr’s. Wingo? He would need to come back healthy, and play, as to draft availability. Jordan Jefferson is the only guy you really lose. Maason Smith, has been ok, but that one, you never know.
You pick up a few in this class, 17 players fighting for 3 positions? That’s good numbers.

This won't happen, Coach Lindsey is probably done coaching bc of health reasons. If Matt House is fired, I wouldn't be surprised if Chatman was the new DL coach. He has Tulane's DL tearing stuff up currently, and he's right down the road.

The issue in that 17, is lee/ fitz/ hill / Wiggins have seen 00000 pt on the worst defense lsu has ever had, and up there for softest dline we've ever had.
None of those guys are fr... and none are redshirting since I beleive all may have already.
Our depth is practice bodies. Maybe few of those kids figure it out... but don't you think 1 of them would be playing with Wingo out if they were avg for the sec?

Jaxon Howard has played in 3 games, making him eligible for the Red Shirt.
Dylan Carpenter has only played in one game, he too is looking at the RS.

I forgot Fitz, so 18.
10 of the DL players are Sophomores and Freshmen, Kelly said he would have to use the portal when needed, but want to get as many from high school and bring them up within the system. This was said from the start, a complete overhaul of the roster was known from the start. I’ve never seen an LSU roster this depleted, in all my years of following LSU Football.

Possible. However, House also doesn’t seem to believe in rotating guys the way that most DCs do. Look at how little Womack and Weeks have played, and we know they can be effective in certain situations and roles today. He just about killed Wingo, Roy and Gaye last year when we had a couple of capable backups (to at least rotate them for rest) who are playing a lot this year.
