Texas people don’t buy it

Former No. 1 DL recruit that signed with Bama. Just never showed up to practice or classes

Transferred to Colorado but left there. Now at a juco.

This is his 5th year in college and he's still at a JUCO

He was a 2019 recruit for those that dont remember. Same year as Derek Stingley

I wonder if he's FINALLY figured out how to be an adult because he certainly wasnt there at 18/19 years old. All the talent in the world.

He's got 3 high schools, 2 JUCOs, and 2 D1 schools listed on his profile.

Seems like there may be some red flags here.

Definitely a lot of red flags in his past, but has the talent you might take a chance on to play for you for just 4 months time. He would only have 1 year of eligibility anyways in 2024 if he transfers to D1 if my math serves me correct here:

2019 - redshirt (didnt play)
2020 - doesnt count
2021 - redshirt freshman (JUCO)
2022 - redshirt sophomore (JUCO)
2023 - redshirt junior (JUCO)

So 2024 is his 5th and final season of eligibility with 2020 not counting and he did enroll in a 4-year school in 2019 so his clock would have started.

I'm not saying go get him, but our interior DL situation could look pretty desperate if we lose Wingo, Smith and Jefferson. If this guy can not F-up for the 4-5 months that matter in the fall of 2024 he could be a difference maker.

Looks like in just 4 games this season he has 12 tackles, 8 TFL and 4 sacks with a FF. Could play 3 tech or DE. The bad news is he's missed 2 games looks like and I dont know why, they were at different times (9/9 and then 9/23) so I would assume wasnt injury related.

The idiots at 247 had him above Stingley.

Everyone in this thread should probably do some research before commenting. His inability to play hasn’t just been about his “immaturity”. Dude has been struggling with epileptic seizures the past 3 years.

Then maybe he should stop playing a sport focused on head trauma.

Hindsight is 20/20. Alfano was a monster against anyone he faced that year. He even embarrassed Kardell Thomas(when we still thought he was good and lead to his 3 star fall) for all the world to see at UA practices. Dude was a beast and his position is more valuable hence the ranking. Personal preference does come into play with rankings
