Disappointing Finish?

How would losing out on Clowney, Drew, or Jernigan be surprises?
Rasco is the only guy on the list that would be an "upset" if he went elsewhere.

Everyone is saying that we always close well and that Miles always pulls in that NSD surprise. But i am saying what happens if we don't get that surprise this year.

most of those guys were 'supposed' to go elsewhere, so its actually quite likely that LSU gets only Mickey Johnson from that list.
The team recruiting will still be top ten if they 'only' get Mickey Johnson from your list.
The disappointment to me for this year's recruiting is
the 4 * RB who got sucked on video by the 14 yr old who let her friends know about it.
That is so lame. He is still on the list as committed to LSU.

The only person on that list we'll probably land is Rasco at this point. So disappointing? Maybe but expected with most of those guys.

You list 2 absolute pipe dreams (Clowney and Drew) and 1 longshot (Jernigan)
I'll be a bit bummed if we don't land Rasco or Jernigan.. but if we land Rasco and Mickey Johnson i'll be pumped
This class is finished IMO. I'd like to add another body at LB and DT.. but outside of that, it's just adding to the number crunch.

If we finish with Rasco, Jernigan, and Drew (or whoever) out of state, we may very well have arguably the best freshman class to have ever signed with us.
If we end up getting Rasco, Chucky Hunter, and Mickey, we have arguably the best recuiting class, almost entirely, from of the state of Louisiana.
If we lose out on ALL of the remaining national recruits on our board, then yes, I will probably feel a little bit of disappointment. And who knows, if they start signing with other schools, we may have a few surprises.
Either way, his class is loaded, filling many holes in the roster, in some cases immediately, and is as good as anybody's! Geaux Tigers

Hard front end work means less surprises on the back end. Still, it ain't over till its over.... May be a little lagniappe yet to come!
