I think you are right and its becoming more obvious that Saban is behind this ploy. For some reason it seems that Saban can't let go of his ego in regards to LSU.

Saban just didn't want him at LSU
might be doing us a favor. LSU hasn't done a good job of managing players like him. Prob too lenient.

That proves nothing of the sort, except that you are a butthurt loser.

He said so much in his announcement that being coached by Saban gives him a good chance at the next level.

I still say give them the opportunity to be a tiger at early signing and if not move on to the next guy pulling the offer. It is not like he has not had time to think about it, he's only been recruited by LsU for 4 fricking wasted years.

No one will ever convince me these top players don't know where they are going for months before signing day, they just get their asses kissed more, and they love it. I think a lot of the Jay Ward's and Jacob Hester's don't make their choices until the big guys do and the dust settles and they can see who the biggest school is that still wants them. Bottom line, these are 18 yr old kids who have been stroked by adults their whole lives, and most don't come from the best home situations, so this is what you get.

I can tell you for a fact he has been a silent commit since early October, just look at my past posts. Bama's bagman left a gift of 150 for him, follow the money "if you can."

Why do you care? LSU is better off not having to deal with that family.

Hindsight bias being 20/20. Should’ve offered Rodney before early signing day and given the Sopsher family the early signing day deadline.

Sign with LSU then or lose your spot.

How do you know?

• Did he commit? No
• Repeatedly stated offering his brother was a condition tied to his commitment. Did LSU offer his brother? Yes
• Did Bama offer his brother? No

.....and on and on...

Evaluate by actions, not words. Thanks for playing.

It was always clear to me he wasnt coming to LSU. We had to offer his loser brother just to get considered. I'm really happy we didn't waste 2 schollies on them

He was asked the question when did he make up his mind? His answer was "this morning".

I have shared this tidbit before that sheds some light on this. Back last season on the LSU-UGA pregame show Moscona was interviewing Shea Dixon for their weekly update on recruiting. There was a lot to talk about that day because LSU-UGA was the biggest game of the day in the South and pretty much nationally so many of the big time recruits were at TS that day.
Shea was asked about Sopsher who was not going to be there and he said in his many years in the recruiting business the old pros told him you follow the visits. On that day where most of the top uncommitted guys were sitting in TS Ish Sopsher was at Alabama for a rent a win game...
And to follow that chord, LSU knew he was not coming and started offering option candidates right and left that week and focusing on people like Ika. So way back in Oct the gauntlet was thrown down by the Sopshers and the rest was just fun time.

I can’t stand ish either. But let’s not be hypocritical

We get pissed when DBs don’t come to LSU bc we are DBU and produce top nfl talent. Sadly, bama does produce top defensive linemen unlike any other school.

Let’s get over this frick from amite and move on
