or did you find it distasteful with the miked up trash talking and halftime entertainment? Under Armour seems to be marketing to an urban demographic.

I liked watching some of the players and their ability, but it is hard to gauge how good players are when they only practice together for what a week before they play a game. Watching to see if you receive any committs is interesting as well. Basically you get to see speed and how strong a qb arm is because the receivers and qb arent even on the same page.

I don't really like watching the UA game. It's all passing and people trying to out smack talk one another. I don't care about half time or what else is going on, but the game is not that great. Although they did run a little more this year, I think last year they only had one or two running backs period.

Under Armour game has gotten unbearable. Like the AAA game much better. The UA game looks like something Vince McMahon would put together.

I wouldn't go as far to say distasteful, but it was leaning that way. I feel like they showed them The U twice a day and said....do this.

When I heard the "Southern-like" band playing in the background I muted it. Terrible!

Seeing that 90% of football players come from an urban demo, who's surprised, and why do you care?

I enjoy the game every year, but UA has definitely begun to brand its game in a different way than AAA.

It is a lot more showy and they allow the players to act like it is a true showcase. In the end, it will make the UA game surpass the AAA game (if it already hasn't). Simply put, the players appear to have more fun at the event.

Now does this make for a better viewing spectacle for the public? Yes and no. We are able to have a better collection of talent on the field in one arena, but I do not think many fans are appreciative of the jawing that goes on.

i watched the replay last night. i saw all i needed to see after the opening touchdown. kid scores and while in the endzone took his helmet off in an effort to showboat and draw attention to himself and no USL was called. these kids heads are already pumped up enough, much less letting them get away w/ stunts like that

I have to admit that I like it when players take the Barry Sander's approach and let their playing do the talking, but I don't like the style of play. It's like a seven on seven drill which is ok and gives everyone an opportunity, but it's not a good "game".
