we actually had some pretty highly rated classes in the 90's.

I know for a fact Hallman pulled in at least 1 top ten class that ended up being the cornerstone of the 95-97 teams.

That Shaw team in 90/91 was ridiculous. I agree with you - no clue how they never won state. I think they got knocked out in the second rd in 90. Men I tell you, men

Folsom, I got into recruiting in '94. I got REALLY into it. Forrest Davis and Jeff Whittaker became my stroke mags. I was fap before fap was cool.

Higgins, do you remember Joe Terranova? He'd send u a little pocket handbook with all the recruits with their stars. I just remember Fla. State seemed to always win the recruiting wars.

A lot of NFL players that overlooked LSU. Their coaches in the 90's were incompetent.

To put it mildly! Yes, we lost a ton of talent to out of state teams, but back then it was usually to Miami & Fl. St.

Whatever happened to Jerome Peterson from Port Allen? He was a great RB in high school.

The best that never was.

He has 3 boys that will all be college athletes barring injury though. Freaks of nature.

Yes - the 1997 team, if coached properly, should have won the SEC that year.

The 1998 and 1999 teams had some serious internal strife and had no business losing the amount of games they did.

8 Dinardo recruits would contribute to the 2003 National Championship team.
