he was always an emergency option if we missed on a lot of other prospects

Recruited but didn't offer

He looked good until he wore out.

He had 35 carries for 257

I guess he did wear out

No not as the only RB you take in a class.

Or the one you’ve made 1st priority

I watched his highlights last night. I get some Chris Curry vibes.

Not necessarily skill set but doesn’t appear to do anything exceptional. Solid in most aspects but what skill pops?

He reminds me of Justin Vincent 2.0

That’s a very good comparison. I think Kiner is a guy who will get in the rotation, but if he’s our top back we’re not looking too good.

IMO, if Emery doesn’t get it together it will be Davis-Price and Bradford next year. However, if Emery can eliminate the mistakes he is our best guy.

It just seems like emery is capable of being at a much higher level in all phases of his game but has not come close to reaching them

The coaches try & run him between the tackles but do nothing in terms of playing to his strengths

yes I agree that playcalling has been poor and creativity even worse. But he will have one guy to beat and it seems like he is so close to just keeping his balance and breaking a big one but it never happens

Agreed. Get that man outside, throw him some swings and screens and the magic will happen

To me it just seems like emery is really immature.

He is hesitant
He needs the light to click on and do everything in his power to be a great back.

There is a reason he isnt the starter
