Capitalism? Since you think it's OK for players to chase the money and use whatever means necessary to get top dollar, I guess you're okay if the top two players on your team leave midseason to go to another team because they got a better offer.

It's coaches thst are to blame for the current state of NCAA football. They earned millions from schools, then decided I'll change jobs and not fulfill my current contract. Leaving players behind stuck on on their fmr. team where the coach that recruited them left for more money elsewhere.

Bk leaving ND, Riley leaving Ok for USC, Kiffin leaving Tn then FAU. Don't fault the players for wanting the same options as head coaches.

Yeah…. That’s what it is.

Glad you admit it. That's exactly what it is.

I swear you people are so damn delusional. You can’t fathom that every kid in America doesn’t want to come to LSU. And you have the audacity to claim I’M COPING? Lololololololololololololololol

Aaand this is where anyone that reads this board knows what I'm saying about your post is true. Defensive much?

You obviously don't know my schtick or my post history. I'm far from the fan you described. I certainly know your post history. This is par for the course for you. Cope harder.

If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black. Are you 12 or is reasonable thinking just too much for you to bear?

It is capitalism. Is it ok that the universities bring in 100 million a year off football and the players get no piece of that? That's communism. And the courts agree. Hence the billion dollar penalty levied against the universities.

The situation you are projecting isn't possible. They can leave but they won't be joining another school mid-season. The portal window is in December. And kids literally do leave mid-season.

After the season, kids leave for the highest bidder. That's the system. Just because we don't like it doesn't mean it's unjust. Is it OK that a coach can leave whenever they want for more money or a better opportunity? That's literally how we got Saban, Miles and Kelly. They had contracts. We paid to get them out of those contracts. The players don't have contracts. Free trade and enterprise. Otherwise known as capitalism.

Either

1) His camp played LSU the entire time until another high bidder came

2) He was going to LSU until 12MIL came into his lap.

I think he's making a huge mistake going to Michigan set aside LSU.

Yes I can’t tell you the number of times I have seen this happen in baseball with the major league draft. We should be used to it by now.

If he wanted to troll he should’ve trolled OSU. I think he really wanted to come to LSU but the way BK looks on the sideline and the mediocre season plus the big bucks eventually led to the flip

College football is now a pro league to compete against the nfl. College just has way less rules on paying players

The situation is possible. Players are now telling coaches they are going to sit the rest if the season to save that year of eligibility, so they could easily pull themselves off the field to save themselves for another team.

Methinks Michigan is the school who got played but only time will tell. Time never lies and BU will need to be the 5*+++ QB or this will be a shitshow.

With the current state of college athletics and the NiL the NCAA needs to get rid of the signing dates. If you’re able to now have lawyers and negotiating NIL contracts then you’re able to sign with a school. No more “committing”. You commit when you sign. When players are waivering on signing then you know to continue recruiting other players for that position.
