A prospect at his position, with his talent and readiness, could very well be the difference, on any given year in LSU's current state of the program, in either winning it all or falling just short
This is where I disagree, in 2012 a guy like that could have been the difference at Florida and or vs Alabama and we had a huge hole at his position. Even this year he'd be a big boost, but in 2014 I don't know that he's the difference between winning it all and not. How often does a WR make that big of a difference? The Lions didn't make the playoffs last year, despite CJ having maybe the best season ever. Again, if we get him, great, if we don't I ain't sweating it.

If Quille qualifies and hits LSU right out of HS, we're likely sitting on a couple of consecutive NC's right now...non-negotiable NC's, that is
are you kidding?
So that was the problem with the LSU offense the last two years? No elite receiver?
I'm not kidding at all. I think you're actually looking at this the wrong way, although it seems like you're being reasonable. I would typically agree, but we've literally been a couple of plays away, here and there, over the last couple of years from winning it all.
Having a guy like Quille to stretch the sideline does a bit more than just improve your passing game some...this is football...it's real. Quille is the type of prospect that you need to get and keep out of the hands of others that you play...it's that simple...and it's true.

If he's half as good as the hyperbole, he may have helped last year, in 2011 what we really needed was for Ok State to have freakin' kicker.

Why commit and decommit
I wouldn't worry. My wife does this all the time when it comes to the sex but I always end up closing the deal. And as a way to boost everyone's spirits I will post a pic of my wife mastering her bait as well as a nice cleavage shot.

I honestly don't think you understand the type of prospect we're talking about right now.
We're not talking about Leslie...there, I said it.

I'm totally with you about the marginal difference and 1 or 2 plays changes everything, but Rubuen Randle was the #1 WR and a top 3 player coming out, he was a Jr in 2011. Last year, he could make a difference, I'm not sure about 2014. Calvin Johnson was on a team that went 0-16, there's only so much 1 WR can help.

Quille is about 10x more ready to play right now than RR was coming out of HS.
Think of Quille as AJ Green...coming out of JUCO.

Anyone have fact on why he did this or is just a bunch of speculation. Cuz I'm not reading this entire thread.

That doesn't really make sense. It's not like Miles runs a policy you have to decommit when you take visits to other schools.

I honestly don't think you can see past the hyperbole. No one said anything about Leslie. If we could have signed him instead of Leslie, fine, but he's a 2014 player not 2013 and the circumstances are different.

Who cares. Bottom line is he will be a Tiger in the end. That's all that really matters.

This. You don't forget about possibly the best WR to ever come out of Louisiana
Yeah possibly.... But that's just an opinion. Why does it seem so many people are up-in-arms about a player that just may spend one year at LSU? Just look at his own decision making process... DW proclaimed how much he wanted to play in front of his family by committing then rescinding his commitment less than two weeks later??? WTH... I'm with the people on here who say "If you want to be here than I want them here. If they don't want to be here then let them go somewhere else."

Alright...I'm starting to freak about a bit now.
I hope he either ends up in P&G or goes pro.
