I know...I was just putting it out there that he is making a huge transition from what I hear. He will play next yr too.

Good luck to the young man. He'll play right away. It opens up more spots and he might not get shot there.....which is always a plus.

If there wasn't so much WR talent this year it might be a but with the ones we are still recruiting then it is not a complete loss.

Not saying you're wrong. My point was there was a faction of people on here who said Benton was better then randle. In retrospect, that's an insane comment.

I'm just glad it's AU and not bama. AU is like kryptonite for stud receivers.

I'm not so sure that LSU gave him a committable offer. The way he just committed and then changed his mind a few days later makes me awfully suspicious about what happened behind the scenes. Maybe LSU feels so good about all of the true freshmen talent at WR this year they decided to go in another direction. I mean SERIOUSLY. He was ALL LSU for a few years, and then Auburn? Something obviously happened we don't know about.

WOW. I never put this class on a pedestal until I seen the potential. You people did 2 years ago and last year. That was my point building something up to the point it could never live up too.

Either he really needed to get away from home, or that was one fat arse check. Best of luck tiger bait. Dream school my arse.

This^^^

His recruitment has been questionable. But if I were one of his family members, I would want his arse out of state too. He's been able to stay out of trouble while in Tx and Ms for the last year and a half, so great for him.

I just don't believe auburn is the best place for him to be if he's trying to stay on the up and up. Gus Malzahn is no disciplinarian, and a couple of their players were just shot at a party on campus less than a year ago. The culture there is all wrong.

Wrong. You took what people said and spun it. No offense, but you're an idiot if you think "There's enough talent in Louisiana in 2014 to make this the best class in history" means "LSU will sign the best class in history".

Good luck to you, Quille. Wish you could have played in P&G, but we understand your dilema.

hypothetically, if DW had come to LSU and was involved in some type of gang related altercation or injury how much negative pub would LSU receive from it? would if he was seriously injured? is that worth taking a chance on for a 1 year player?

just some questions our staff may have dealt with about DW's future and what is best for him and LSU.
