Luke, I was referring to his high school. They dropped the ball and likely misadvised him on what counted and what didn't (i.e. the correspondence class.
I think this 14 page thread is more just due to the shock and BS that was going around. Hopefully things will clear up and things may work out better for LSU in the end.

Are you not the one bitching about how long this thread is? Seriously? Why do your posts never cease to amaze me?

He felt so uncomfortable at LSU that he came to Baton Rouge with the intention of rooming with Shep and the Georgia guys
He felt so uncomfortable that he committed to LSU 10 months ago, and he never visited another school until this past week.
I wouldn't take that excuse seriously fore even one second.
And for everyone who says Pratt isn't a big loss, that may be correct. However, since LSU believed that Pratt was a solid verbal, they may have held off on Christine Michael, and now he will most likely be an Aggie. It's very frustrating to get neither of these guys.

It just doesn't make sense.

The only logical explanations are a) Major recruiting violations from OK State and the implicit approval of his high school coach b)Miles told him that he wanted Pratt to play LB and c)That ridiculously far-fetched mugging/robbery story.
I am going with A, unless Les thinks we are getting Trent Richardson. In that case, he may have let his guard down with Pratt, but it still seems weird that they would talk about something so controversial on his first day in Baton Rouge.

I by no means read this entire thread so i only need a simple answer. I noticed his high school coaches name is lee fedora...Fedora from USMs brother?
If so, odd he didn't land at USM like DeAndre Brown when he realized he couldn't make the grades.

Yes, they are brothers. Also, Larry Fedora was the OC at Oklahoma State before he went to USM.

I recall...its just kind of hard for me to believe the high school coach wasn't hocking his brother to the kid...unless he has visions of an OSU job himself and thinks this will help him out.

Another LSU/OSU angle is Josh Henson (recruiting coord.).
From what I hear, Henson is expected to leave for Missouri as TE coach/Recruiting Coord. Heard that he didn't take well to the Orgeron offer as Recruiting Coord at LSU.
Think Henson may have something to do with OSU becoming a player for Pratt?

i didn't see this before..dont spend much time on this board...but why would that be the case? wouldn't he want him at Mizzou instead of having to play against him every year?

My bad. New to this board. Check my date.
Never been to a board with so many threads about the same guy.
Don't lose any sleep over it. Just an error from a newbie.

When i was 17, i changed my mind about 15 times my senior year about where i was going to go to college. My first day on campus, i had second thoughts, but then i met some people, got drunk and the rest is history. Maybe Pratt didn't get past that awkward "out of place" feel.
but again i repeat, who cares... just a kid changing his mind. Good Luck, Good Night.
P.S. you don't win national championships by winning recruiting championships... I'm sure Miles is prepared for a few flakes.
