Why Not??? Kid deserves one and I think he's going to be a dominate elite type guy?? He looks better then a whole bunch of other DEs and could prob play DT also. I'm hardly an expert but I've seen us offer less with grade issues? I think he's worth the risk but that's only me so... I guess it's a good thing we don't offer guys with issues but man this dude is worth it and looks like a smart guy IMO? I say get him in! What y'all say?

Hell yeah!! Call him up, email, tweet, Skype, FB, text, just get him in! Nah, camps good for me, I know he's been on campus before suppose he didn't work out? Dudes what 17 and looks like a man, I think he carries good weight too!! I just think he will be better then people think!!

My Sources tells me he will get a offer at camp and Bama will offer him too at their camp. I'm with you though I think he's good enough now to get a offer now, why wait but we shall see.

What is is with people not being able to have patience about offers extended?

Didn't we only offer Duke Riley a day or 2 before NSD? and yet he still signed with LSU.

The reason he doesn't have an offer yet is that is grades are a huge question mark.

By all reports, he seems to have a great relationship with the staff. I read a while back that Miles and Brick left their respective drills during practice to go say hello to him.
I would assume they are being hard on him regarding grades, but that is just a guess. like others have said, he will get his offer this summer, and i'd be really surprised if he doesnt sign with us when it is all said and done. the only way i see it happening is if we really slow play him into the end of football season.

it appears that willis, clark, and thornton are all ahead of dg. I assume we would take a pure dt. if so, thats 4 spots if they all stick. i know folks think willis and/or gd could be tackles. it is not a slam dunk that he gets offered at camp. he camped last year. if grades are the only issue, he has 5 6-week periods done already, we should know where he stands academically.
