exactly. There are much more 6'1" 245lbs in the league than RBs that size

Devin's heart didn't appear to be in it this year when he was playing LB.
Here is a 20 minute highlight reel from his junior season. He lays the lumber LINK. Did something change?
He had similar numbers in terms of tackles (93 this season, 99 in 2014)
I've never watched him play live, but I've heard he took off some plays. He did play RB, LB, and returned kicks. I'm sure he got a little tired.

Ray Lewis is about the same size. What more do you need

I think he will play LBer, because of our depth at the running back position.

Everyone needs to chill on the LB talk. It takes a certain instinct to be as good of a LB as many are suggesting he would be.
You have to want it. If his heart is not there, it will never pan out.
I think a lot of people like White at LB because we need LB's this year. It's good to hear he's open to playing there. Who knows...he may start spring practices and decide that he'd rather climb the depth chart at LB rather than at RB.

Ducre will not make a good LB. have you seen him play LB?
Are you saying that no one has ever seen him play LB or that he played some in HS and was bad?

I agree, he can really make a hit I think he could play LB at college. In fact, prior to this year, i thought his best chance at college would be at LB, not RB. I changed my mind this season after talking w/ the AL RB coach, hearing what other college coaches had to say about him as a RB recruit and seeing how much harder he played on offense this year compared to defense. Yeah, the stats and highlights were still there this yr, but his heart just didn't seem to be into defense like prior years. I've been fortunate to have seen all of Devin's hs games except for only 2 so I've got something to compare it to.

Yes, he got VERY tired. This yr he was subbed more on defense than in prior years. Nevertheless, his performance was sometimes amazing when you consider how much time he spent on the field and how much he ran each game (including punt and kick off returns).

That makes sense. Thanks for the first hand knowledge.
Looks like whatever he commits to, LB or RB, he will be a beast. I'm just happy it will be for LSU.
