Per Mike Coppage, aka Clean's, facebook. He hasn't written an article on scout yet, but he posted a status saying that Bourque had committed to A&M.

From my understanding he's been wanting to commit for a while. We accepted today

Congrats and I hope he does well. A&M is a better situation for him than LSU. He would get lots of playing time once Cyrus Gray is gone.

It's already been confirmed by A&M counselor's that he is on track to graduate and be able to get in.
He's taking summer classes at a private school in Mississippi per Gigem247

Those extra classes have to be approved by the NCAA. It's not always a given that they're accepted. If they are, A&M will be getting a good one.

That all sounds perfectly normal. He should have no trouble getting in.

did lsu offer him?
Yes, he was offered at the same time as Lamar Louis.

Those will have to be cleared by the NCAA.

Yes but not sure if it was conditional. He isn't a need but he is a local kid with talent.

Dandy Don has him as the #6 ranked recruit in LA. I think the #1 RB too. Correct me if im wrong. So he definitely has the talent.

if he earns the PT he's a good one. Christine Michael has 2 years left and Trey Williams will be on campus the same 4 years along with some other highly rated RBs

damn the Ags absolutely own Louisiana

He's one that I really wanted LSU to get. I think he could be very good at multiple positions.

I don't think he would jump in front of Kenny Hilliard as the big back so he may have to wait for a while to get his turn. Michael should be eligible for the draft in a year or two while Trey Williams would be Bourque's complement for a 1-2 punch.
