Ole Miss was always the threat here.

Wouldn't worry too much until the national guys are on it but this is the price you pay for losing a game like this past weekend.

Optics are everything and everyone is expecting us to be the same old same old now (no playoffs)

Finishing this season strong is going to be very important for keeping our class together.

The game has no implication on this. It’s strictly money

Simply not true.

LSU has a significantly higher NIL pool than Ole Miss as well

Don't know if I trust that dude. His prediction % is low and he also predicted Jase Matthews (WR) to flip from Auburn to Ole Miss- which probably aint happenin.

side note: JJ bush predicted to MS State on ON3. Why don't we close on him? A LB in this class is a good take.

I wouldn't worry here, David Johnson isn't known for being good or accurate

LSU also has to pay Lamar Brown, Richard Anderson and Trenton Henderson.

All of those guys are Dlinemen they’re all getting paid a lot.

David Johnson is notoriously unreliable lol wouldn’t put too much stock into his predictions

They currently have much better odds of making the playoffs than we do...

No they do not lol. Ole Miss actually has a good collective. I don't know where you got that from.

Ole Miss is likely losing 3 games. There is no way a kid is stupid enough to pick a school after they beat the school he's committed to by 5 points.

If he leaves, it's purely money.

Never said they have a bad collectible just not as big as ours. We literally
poached their top off field staffers this past offseason

You have no clue what you're talking about. Ole Miss actually has a bigger collective than LSU off NIL. They have a lot of old money big donors. Just because LSU poached a few staff members doesn't mean LSU has a bigger collective than them. While LSU isn't poor here, they've struggled to put together a collective like Ole Miss. BK put some of his own money up for the collective this year for this team.

Ole Miss has one of the bigger collectives in the SEC. Texas, TAMU, Tenn, Ole Miss, etc. Seems people are hanging on to the "old" Ole Piss mentality here when they're actually setup well for the new era NIL. LSU poached those members because LSU's collective/recruiting needed overhauling. They had one of the most expensive rosters in the country last year and failed. You'd be surprised at who has the best collectives in the SEC. Hint: It's mostly not the traditional powers with a few exceptions.

That doesn't mean that the dollar amount that Ole Miss values him at is the same dollar amount that LSU values him at.

Besides, I feel like Lane might be leaving Ole Miss. That's kinda the feeling every year, but he's getting to the point where he's turning down jobs every year, I just don't think that he'll turn down some of the ones open after this season.

Doesn’t mean they are giving this individual more $$

I’d say it’s probably 95% money these days
