Yeah, I understand what you're saying, and I agree that we don't want a kid who comes to LSU just for the money.
The point I was trying to make is, how do we know this kid is chasing money? Everyone seems to believe that's the case, but it just seems like a lot of speculation, and that no one actually knows that money is behind his decisions.
I don't know if it is or isn't true; just seems a bit unfair to say he's looking for a bag of money if we don't know.

Because that makes them feel better about the kid not choosing LSU!! So the will drag this kid and everyone like him trough the mud just to cope and feel better about being rejected!

From Orangebloods. EDIT 2:20pm: Just talked to a source at Texas that said that the staff had a positive conversation with Derek Williams and his mom this afternoon and they now expect him to sign on Wednesday once again.

A&M has a lot of highly rated D lineman but they are terrible on the back 7 and they’ll roll out that dumpster fire of an O-line again. A&M now looks FSU did at the end of Jimbo’s time there. Enjoy their fade into irrelevancy as Texas and Oklahoma get ready to join the SEC

When programs know a kid is 100% about money, the ones playing that game will take a shot. Williams was about money from day one (he told our staff this), and that’s why LSU never gained any traction.
