Agents have no allegiances. They go where the money leads. Would be shortsighted of him to leave $ on the table because he has an affinity for one in particular.

LSU pays them too…but I don’t remember any press conferences where the LSU head coach said we don’t pay anyone while calling out other schools

This isn’t surprising. For the most part, you can tell which recruits that have LSU high up on the list and vice versa by the traffic, stories, updates, and name dropping done by recruiting services and the team they cover. I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but there sure has been a lack of mentions or “tidbits” or interviews about Williams from LSU sites. They can claim he’s keeping it close to the vest all they want but it’s sort of glaring.

Some recruits just want to go out of state, period. So we are going to lose some here and there no matter what Kelly and staff does.

Brian Thomas Jr's recruitment was the same way.
