Cameron Edge, 2023 pro style QB will be starting this year for DeMatha. He’s listed as anywhere from 6-1 to 6-3, 190 pounds and will be a sophomore. Coach O offered and his mom went berserk cause her family is from Louisiana!!!

Pretty sure 2023 has some other top options from Louisiana

don't need one. Arch Manning is never coming to LSU. The family has a deep seeded hate of LSU, and I respect it. Cooper might be the closest son to Archie, and he was the first to head to Oxford.

It will be a business decision, but LSU is never a real option.

Best to keep all of our options open.

Also, he (Edge) needs to work on the throwing motion. Too much of a baseball throw. Needs some coaching to tighten it up.

You are responding as if I said Arch is a lock to LSU, all i was saying is that he should be priority. Saying he will never come to LSU is simply ignorant and disrespectful to the work this staff has done to get this program to where it is

Anyone want to explain to a curious outsider where all Arch could potentially go?

The five finalist will likely be:

Clemson
Duke (if Cutcliff is still coaching)
LSU
Ole Miss
Oklahoma

IT's kind of still way too early as they arent allowing him to be recruited really yet, but we do have a certain leg up right now just having the season we had and showing the offense we did and people close to him saying he has his eyes on us for that.

I would definitely think Tennessee, Ole Miss and Duke (Cutcliffe) will be in it due to the family connections to each for sure. Word is they do not like Kiffin though so that's working against Ole Miss. Who else is really involved in his recruitment right now is tough to say because again they havent really let him get recruited much yet, but we definitely have a shot in it and Rouge has no idea what he's talking about. He's just blowing smoke about him going to wherever said he will go, he has absolutely no clue where he's going.

Which is why Alleva played 7d chess and hired an Ole Miss guy.

There's plenty of stuff around too from people close to Arch saying he is seriously considering us after the season we just had, it's not just "smoke". This has been discussed on the pay vboards as well with people in the know and they say early on we absolutely are in it with him. This isn't saying he WILL come here, but as per usual you're absolutely wrong on simply guessing where he will go and passing it off as fact.

This is not the Mafia and teh Manning family does not act like a monolith. Archie, Peyton and Eli all have friends within the LSU former players and supporters whom they respect and vice versa. If young Manning decides LSU is the best choice for him the Mannings will support him.

Its way past time to end the Mannings hate LSU meme.

Will Clemson still be a finalist after they land Ty Simpson?
