Well, actually they are. Name another family in the history of the world that had 3 starting NFL QBs in the immediate family. Take your time.

Doesn't mean the kid is. If course he will be treated different because if the family legacy, as would any other kid with famous lineage. Just think it's too early to put all that energy behind an 8th grader. Could be a nonfactor by the time he's a Jr or Sr.

As long as cutcliffe is at Duke they are the front runner imo

Arch isn’t immediate family.

Uneducated statement on this particular topic!

I would have to think with Kiffin at Ole Piss it's going to be difficult for LSU to beat them out.
Thought I've heard that the Mannings are not fans of Kiffin.

He just completed 9th grade and was a starter on the Varsity team at Newman as a Freshman and did very well.
By the time he is a Senior, if he continues to progress, it is highly likely he will be a top 10 recruit in the nation.

He is going to be a factor. Newman is stacked in that Freshman class. A couple of guys couldn't play because of transfer rules. He is getting good coaching and is a better athlete than either Peyton or Eli in terms of running ability.

Sure, some recruits we have signed will end up being a waste of energy, as they will never start - if you look at it that way.
Ed O and other great recruiters don't see it how you do. They enjoy recruiting, its always a gamble. Chad Jones got in a freak wreck before he ever took a snap in the NFL - point being is you never know who will be available to play.
Its also about relationship building. While some kids don't pan out, if you maintain a positive relationship, the coaches, parents, families or friends may still use their network to send an even better player your way.
Ed Paris did not play a significant amount of snaps, but if it weren't for our relationship with him - he would have never driven Jamal Adams through a snow storm to get to an LSU visit.
You cant be horizontal in your approach. You have to take as many good shots as you can at every angle.
If you don't think it helped to have Karl Malones kid or Randy Moss's kid on campus even by extra visibility alone, then youre not paying attention.

The Carr’s are well on their way with David and Derek.

I find it difficult to believe that the Manning Family will allow any of their bloodline to even consider LSU.

0% chance this kid comes to LSU, and I am 100% fine with that

Biggest thing that shocked me about this article was Heid Manning being an 8th grade Center.

That just isn't true. If the family thinks that LSU is the best school for him that's where he will go. My nephew is a freshman at Newman and one of Arch's best friends and his mom is my mom's goddaughter.

They are you stupid frick.
They’re protecting a 15 year old and trying to let him live like a normal kid,

Well then maybe so

The situation is more important than the school. If it is UF, Clemson, Oklahoma, LSU or some other school it doesn't matter. What is best for Arch is what matters.
