Webb and Bryant both are stand up pass rushers in a 3-4. Educate yourself or keep looking stupid it’s up to you

Ok now I will educate you. What defense do we run? 3-4. What position is Chiasson, Divinity, Thornton etc listed as? OLBs. Last I checked a LB is not a DL. So do you want to educate yourself or continue to look stupid? Your turn

To the guy who says I can leave for coming at vol.
Wasn't coming at vol first of all I even posted that I wasn't slighting him. Just correcting his mistake. Same as the guy I qouted above.
Secondly, I've been here for a long time and around recruiting for 2 decades so I think I might know a little bit. Check my history big boy.
Thirdly, why is it some crime to go at vol if that were what I was doing? Is he infallible? Is he the Messiah? No. Hes a great source of information and very valuable member of this board and I appreciate him as much as anyone. However he's also a man that I'm sure can handle a little message board peppering. As a man myself, if you're a smartass to me I'm gonna be one back. No one here is above getting what they give.

To the guy asking if I'm butthurt. No. I just don't blindly fawn over everything vol or anyone else posts. If I see a mistake that can mislead others I'm gonna correct it. In hindsight it was likely just an honest position mistake(Webb is a LB) that I should've let go. Yet it was still a mistake.

Anyone else need an explanation?

I agree with when you said Les Miles recruited better LBs. When you said Miles was a better rcruiter overall, that i doubt.

We need Dline a lot more than RB... we could go without a runner in this class.

No we can't and you don't turn the number 1 running back down

You do exactly what they are doing.
Bryant committed early and I don't think his film is that great anyway

We absolutely can’t go without a runner. CEH is a big pro possibility. Curry is a risk of transfer. Leaving us at 2 rbs. Not good

This will hurt LSU recruiting Texas and Houston. Bryant was close with lots of players in Texas. Not a good look at all. We have offered several from shadow creek as well. You can write those boys off

Lol dude we aren’t 7-4 and ranked in the bottom of the top 25 anymore. We’re number 1 in the country and will likely have a Heisman Trophy winner. If that doesn’t tell everyone in the country that we know how to manage a team and class then they can write themselves off anyway.

I doubt letting a kid go because we’re upgrading his position will do a damn thing if LSU wanted his buddy in the next class. Even so LSU recruiting is about to open up nation wide. LSU will be turning down more talent each class than most schools get into theirs. LSU was already a national brand and now even more so. Things like this are forgotten in weeks maybe months at best.

Yeah, while you are correct, we don't need no stinking Texas kids. Other than a few, they are bottom of the barrel as a state as far as pushing out recruits. So its all good.

I trust CEO asking the LA kid to kick rocks too. We didnt really need him at all.

Are you drunk? Texas puts out great players. So does LA. But to think that is ridiculous

Yeah, you are. We need him to probably go next. No offense, i think he should have maybe been first to go? I could be biased, but I think most Tiger fans agree with me. Do you spend much time looking at recruiting tapes, or no? I know we dont all have a lot of time to.

Kids talk. The 5* DE from the 2021 class we are recruiting heavily is tweeting about it. The kids are aware that LSU will accept your commitment and continue to evaluate you until something better comes along even if you’re committed for a long time. I know everyone does it but doing it around the Houston area is dangerous. This cycle, we have gotten into the Washington DC area and Other areas we do not recruit as often. However, Houston is where our bread gets buttered in Texas. If you don’t think this will have an impact on the elite players in the Houston area for 2021, you are mistaken. The #1 ranking and Heisman trophy winner will pay dividends but it’ll only last so long in the what have you done lately word of recruiting. Sky isn’t falling but I think this one is gonna sting for a little while
