add Arnold and Herm to that.

to the other guy's question, the bolded were in state guys. also, you had some in state guys that were highly recruited but didn't work out for various reasons like Ryan Miller (contributor but not a star) and Jerry Sevin.

Niswanger, Whitworth, i know for sure. Wilkerson might as well be he's from a tiny town in Tx right by the LA border.

The best in-state guy since those guys listed probably was Herm Johnson. I can't think of anybody else from the top of my head. I think the pool shifted to D-line over the last half decade.

Rob Sale signed in 1998 & Rodney Reed signed in 1999 both with Gerry DiNardo.

Maybe Chris Faulk could end the drought of o-linemen.

Robba the hut. Aka sale is at bama. Doing very well. His dad said he is looking at some head high school jobs in LA. He was a dinardo. Saban coached and they were very close.

He is supposed to be real good, but I hear La'el Collins from next year's class is supposed to be the truth. Best OT recruit since Andre Smith. He will definetly end the o-lineman drought if no one else does.

On a side note, what happened to Carneal Ainsworth from last year's class? I know he left the team for personal reasons. Any word on if he plans to return?

When Barksdale was converted to OL Pelini said he could be a top 10 draft pick. Was that bull or should he still be at DT?

I know it's more fun to play on the DL but what's in Davenport's best interest?

Davenport is a pure DT IMO. Would be a mistake to move him to offense.

Rudy was a FB at OCS I think he was listed as a FB his Freshman year at LSU then moved to OL. They recruited him to be an OL player.
