For what it is worth I just heard someone, I think Scarbrough on the radio say that he talked to white this morning and he said that he is very interested in LSU. He said with the dead period right now and his plans to announce before the game, I think Jan. 2 He is trying to find a way to work in a visit. Mike Davis committing to is one of the reasons he thinks that LSU is a team in need of a wide out.

I've heard that he definitely is thinking about us.The same people think he is going to Okie St.Just because he makes a commitment at the all star game doesn't mean that is where he will sign.Those things are usually kids that already knew their decision and the people running the game asked them to wait and announce at the game or kids that are pressured to commit.Jai Eugene picked Michigan at the Army game and we know where he ended up.No one knows who he's been talking to or who's been talking to him.The Texas guys think they are getting everyone.They have already gotten Hicks,good job, but Jeffcoat and White might be a very different story.

Thanks for the word on Lache. That's good news indeed. Hoping Wilson can reel him in. I never quite understood the USC fascination considering he hadn't actually visited them to my knowledge (he visited Cal and Oregon).
As far as Davis, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Davis and Stills pushed him toward us but we will have to see. Sounds like communication just broke down because we had Davis on board and were trying to wrap up the in-state guys (Reed, Wright, and Fobbs).
After reading the Fobbs article about Gonzales, I think he'll be a BEAST on the recruiting trail with how he is selling himself. This could get interesting.

i'm not trying to be a jerk,but can you tell me why texas longhorn fans,or fans of any other school are on an lsu recruiting board.i don't get it.are your sites so boring that you come to ours.i cant imagine ever going to another schools site,so maybe you can give me some insight as to why you and others are here on ours?

It is a "recruiting" board on an LSU site. Most of us welcome the majority of posters from other schools. We welcome people who read different websites and link them here. We welcome different opinions and points of view about how LSU's recruiting and our competitor's recruiting is going.

thanks for the comment.i am only interested in lsu,and could care less about any other school.i guess other than seeing where all the teams finish in respect to recruiting, i could give two sh..s about how any other schools recruing is going.thanks for the explanation though

Its a good site with lots of good reads to start with. With y'all being so close to TX we seem to go after a lot of the same guys which makes this a good place to get information. Mike Davis was a good example, I was able to get more info and chatter about him here than on any of the Longhorns boards.

Some of the "visiting" posters from other schools have relatives or friends that are being recruited. Some even know coaches involved in recruiting. Their insight is welcome.
Most of the Texas posters are unbaised and fair with what they post here.
We have more problems with the "visitors" from other SEC teams here.
Don't let the namecallers keep you from posting.

Well Only a noob like you wouldn't understand that some of the students from LSU are from Texas. When most of the students from LSU graduated, they're most likely going to move to Texas. Just like the site owner ,Chicken, lives in Texas.
