Unbelievable to be honest.
Slap in the face to BK IMO after he was in that video for him.
I have heard good things regarding Lewis. Everything changes I guess.
Looking like this one is not a lock at all.

Why the hell would Lewis want to go to bama? They are loaded at TE. From the outside that looks like a poor decision.

It’s a loss because he’s talented, and obviously needed.
If your an LSU fan I would take Perkins and Matthews and run at this point.

I would say this is gonna be close.
Embody just yesterday had Lewis at a 50 confidence. Nobody seems to know this one.
I would not be surprised though if he still went to LSU despite all these rumors.

Would be a really dumb decision if he chose Bama. Sorry but it is what it is.
He can get a ton of playing time at LSU but will never ever ever play at Bama. If he rather that, then oh well. Let him make that decision.

Now that we are in the age of NIL I would not put it past these recruits playing coy into the last minutes to lock up more NIL money. It's not necessarily them, its their parents/handlers.

Alabama was late to the party on this as well. It just doesn’t make sense.

It makes sense if he’s looking for more money from LSU. You have to think that Perkins and Matthews are getting much bigger deals than anyone else left on the board at this point. It’s possible he’s playing the card he has to get a bigger offer. He’s in a position of much greater need than Citizen or Douglas and has more leverage than they would have here.
Or he’s a follower and is ring-chasing. That happens a lot over there. Guys pass on much better playing time and developmental situations to join a long line over there every year. .
