5.
David Elias (DE), 6'3", 245, Dutchtown. Very agressive and fast for his size. Might grow into a tackle.
6.
Duke Riley (LB), 6'1", 212, John Curtis. Very physical, and a very hard worker.
Anyone know anything on these 2. Especially Riley, never heard of him.
What are our chances and were they at LSU the other week

Had about 115 tackles last season. Was the small schools defensive player of the year in New Orleans.

I really can't take his list too seriously. If you look at the list over all he has some guys all the way down who LSU has on their boards. example :
Shelby Christie is at 15 and guys like Carlton Perkins is 49, donald gage is 51 and deondre skinner is 53.

Hope we get this kid. His father is a friend of mine.

Agreed that list is kind of comical, I coach Perkins and there are not 48 players better than him in the state just watch his jr. highlights. There are numerous kids that were at Jr. Day not even listed.
Dandy Don's list

Exactly. It's a joke really. I almost have to question if he even knows what he's talking about. Do people take this man's list serously? I guess the kids who end up on top of it and wonder how'd that happen?

Larry Cage is at 73. This guy was combine king and fastest man at the Zachary combine. He is a beast.

Texas Tech is interested. So as of now, no threats.

it's an early list. It'll get adjusted over time.

I can't believe some people are worried how Dandy lists these kids. He isn't a talent evaluator, he is an old man with a computer

Seems to be pretty decent. Not likely to be a superstar but looks solid. FWIW I'd probably see him getting more PT at a lesser school like Ole Miss or Arkansas. He's from the same place that Landon Collins and Lorenzo Phillips are from FWIW. Curious to see how he does his SR year.

Yea - He was pretty wrong about last year -
Landon Collins (S/LB), 6'1", 205, 4.55, Dutchtown. Collins is a five-star recruit and is hearing from all the big programs across the nation. I project Collins to play linebacker in college.
2.
Denzell Devall (DE), 6'2", 240, 4.6, Bastrop. Devall played defensive end the last two seasons at Bastrop but will likely play linebacker in college.
3.
Trey Granier (LB), 6'1", 225, Thibodaux. Granier is the best pure linebacker to come out of Louisiana in the last several years. LSU has not had good luck with Thibodaux the last few years but that will change in the 2012 signing class. Grainer is already comitted to LSU. LSU commitment
4.
Lorenzo Phillips (OLB), 6'2", 210, Patterson. Phillips is one of four big-time Linebackers in this 2012 class. LSU commitment
5.
Terrell Lathan (DE), 6'3", 230, West Monroe. Lathman is a very aggressive player with a chance of being outstanding at the next level
