No he doesn’t. They refused to turn over that text because the player didn’t want to burn any bridges for the next portal cycle. Dabo even says so.
The agent told Dabo he can have the texts if they protect the player by giving him another year on the contract (so he wouldn’t have to worry about the portal fallout from other coaches with him giving away the texts). Dabo declined and the player left.

So I know in high profile investigations that we deal with like homicides or rapes we are able to recover deleted texts by writing a simple search warrant and submitting a signed one by a judge to the phone carrier so I’d assume the NCAA can get a court order for the same if they really want to. Just depends on how deep they want to dive.

Guy has made it very far from brown nosing the right folks in athletic departments and the media, he’s probably telling the truth there in that he prob does care more about a major connection to a prominent AD over one player bc he knows he’ll need a lifeline one day when Pete’s drunk arse running things.
But I agree he knew for sure, probably just has no position to tell him no. Golding is in a pretty high leverage spot for himself with him taking the job the way he did and trying to fill this role to keep their momentum rolling. He’s calling the shots, atleast until a few losses start coming in

Well if Dabo has that text then he basically has the other one too. He’s extorting Clemson with the text. Admitting through the extortion there was texts.
But phone records will have the text. A simple subpoena of Luke and/or Pete’s phone records will show the text. It’s really not that hard to get.
