He is definatly a man amoung boys. He will start. Big and strong, do not know how this guy is not a 5*, #1 interior lineman. Glad we got this mauler. He will start for sure.

I sure hope he's ready to get to LSU and go to work!

He's been committed, kept his head down and stayed apart of the class and never waivered as the #1 player in Arkansas, regardless of position.

Will he start at guard or tackle? He’s the most athletic lineman in the 2025 class

We need a mauler in the middle of the line. I’d like someone with his disposition opening up holes for the running back.

I'm hoping Guard. He's quick and blocks really well in space, which is what we need.

BK called him a tackle in his presser. I think he sees him as having long enough arms and the athleticism to play there or inside.

His coach said that he does back flips or front flips at practice. That sounds pretty athletic!

Wish those clips showed him against players who weren’t half his size.

Does anyone know if he camped or what the competition his team played is like? One of these would probably explain why he wasn’t ranked higher (although he is still ranked as the top IOL)

Right im sure he is awesome. But that video doesn’t prove anything. Those guys are half his size

Curne, Thomas, and Bordelon looks like a nasty trio of guards. But I can't help but notice that a lot of Kelly's class has a lot of out of state talent on it. I mean talent is talent no matter where it's from, but LA talent is second to none. That's why coaches Saban and Miles' classes were always heavy with LA talent because they recognized that after being there for a minute. Of course coach O being from LA already knew that. But this looks like a good solid recruiting class that Kelly has put together despite losing some top recruits last minute because of NIL money.

That’s why I’m wondering if he camped anywhere. If he did, there would have gone against plenty of other players his size.
Maybe he only went to a couple of college camps, like the LSU OL/DL camp. That would explain a lot

My God, that guy is a monster for sure. Others pointed out his size advantage over the DL in the video. Ok, that's fine but that doesn't take away that he moves extremely well, finishes his blocks, and doesn't have a Kardell Thomas type gut. I believe Kelly called him the most physically strong OL he has ever signed out of HS. I wouldn't bet against that claim!

Disagree quite a bit on your points. First, LA talent is not second to none. Even taking population differences into account, LSU is behind Texas and Georgia for sure...maybe Florida also. And more importantly, some people are disappointed the LSU doesn't just dominate signing all the LA HS highly rated players. As others have pointed out, balance is just as important as rankings. LA usually is heavy with RBs, WRers and secondary guys but short on QBs, OL, DL, and LBers. I have already brought up before that Orgeron's ultra highly ranked classes were based on overstocking WRers and short on OL and DL. His classes were horribly unbalanced but the recruiting services didn't seem to deduct points for that.

agree, no reason we shouldn't be able to run the ball for the foreseeable future.

During Les Miles’s tenure, he had some classes like that as well as many pointed out at the time. But it never seemed to matter that much because most of his players, at least until his last 2 or 3 seasons, stayed for at least three seasons and didn’t flame out. Seemed like more of his classes were hits than misses. At least, more were contributors, not necessarily starters.

Unfortunately, almost everyone is obsessed with finishing #3 instead of #9. I'm not remotely concerned with that. Besides the position balance factor I've mentioned, I consider recruiting ranked players way down on the list of importance. Above that are 1) coaches appraisals during camps 2) list of offers by major programs and 3) my own evaluation watching their "highlight" videos (a bit egotistical but we all have our appraisals I'm sure)

All those states are bigger than LA per capital and LA for such a small state produces an incredible amount football talent. I have seen big power 5schools recruit LA talent, some 2 stars and they go to those schools and excel in football becoming stars for their programs. Maybe, LA is short on interior line talent, but LA produces great talent in that area too. So, I definitely don't agree with what you said.
