How are we supposed to run play action and other slow developing plays when our LT is a liability and consistently Olè's his man when not given RB or TE help?

Safe plays like 1-2 man routes? You know the kind that Griese said were much too simple and far too easy to defend with double coverage on both routes? He is calling safe plays because he's lost 80% of his line, not because his QB is dumb. Good God...carry your arse back to the rant. This idiocy isn't allowed on this board.

I thought our O line was fine yesterday. People need to wake up though, yes our wr's have tendencies to drop passes but to say Mett is not part of the problem is idiotic. Against A&M and against other teams this year, our WR's would be steps ahead of the defender down field and he would constantly over throw them. I agree that our Wr's need to do a better job helping mett out and actually catch the ball.

Mett even ran the short side option Saturday

It's the option look but there is exactly a 0% chance of him ever keeping it, so he isn't really "running the option". They call it when they know the pitch will immediately be there based on defensive alignment to a particular formation.

I can't understand why the defense keeps taking him and not the pitch man. It's awesome!

Lee doesn't get enough credit for how accurate he was. He rarely overthrew a wr

I said that this year. I'll believe it when I see it.

Are you too stupid enough to realize that the "depleted" o line held it's own against some of the best pass rushers in the country. Clowney, Moore, Porter, Taylor, Sutton. All are going to be playing on Sundays. Mett overthrows targets even when has 4-5 seconds to throw the ball and a WIDE open receiver.

I think Boone is perhaps out best receiver and will be dynamite before he leaves LSU. Mett needs to settle down and get out playmakers the ball. Our offense is a c-hair away from being very good and I think they will get it together. The big time receivers out there know that with the QBs we have coming in, LSU is a good place to be.

I could see taking his headset away. Get some grass and let him munch during the game. Give him a dummy headset he may not know different anyway. Let a real OC run the O with all the talent LSU has.

"Les wants to rely on his D and be ultra conservative on O. It's a formula that has won him 82 games out of 101. It's very effective obviously. LSU just is not going to be a team that slings the ball around and puts up 70 points."

I've said this for three years, this is who we are if we sucked on D it would be different. This is the formula that has won the last six BSCNC,deal with it and be happy to be in the mix...........
