Sorry if this has been posted to death, but does anybody really think it's a coincidence that in the years that Corey Raymond was gone our CB recruiting went into the toilet and now, not long after his return, we have two 5-star CBs? Say what you will about his coaching, but the guy has the Midas Touch recruiting CBs.

Agree wholeheartedly. His recruiting has never been a problem. His coaching and development continue to be a problem. The 2nd point is why many didn't want him back. The S play is on him. Can't argue there isn't talent back there. Also can't argue they don't play well due to bad coaching.
If the argument is indeed lack of talent, why did we take them? No matter how it's narrated, all roads lead back to the coaching staff. Either they can't coach, can't evaluate or both.
Only pass is Bo Davis. The players he chose to bring have done the best they can in regards to the talent they possess.

Agree, but both Pickett and Phillips have shut down recruitment so it seems as sure a thing as you can get these days.
