No one knows what is in either NIL package.

His secondary performances haven't been impressive the past 8 years or so
Within the last 8 years he directly coached Tre White, Greedy Williams, Donte Jackson, Kristian Fulton, Derek Stingley, and I’m sure a few more I’m forgetting. You’re talking out of your arse.

They all transferred after Corey got let go

hopefully he recruits guys with better character than those 3.

Singling out 2 bad years out of 12 is crazy

The only reason Pickett is considering LSU is because of Raymond. Georgia was eliminated today. So, three team race. He will be a Tiger!!

The DB coach can't be expected to drop dollars so NIL is a bit of a separate topic to me. Everyone now is just so impatient. Hopefully with a good structure in place (i.e. head coach and surrounding staff) Corey Raymond can succeed. A big factor is the overall process and structure of an organization in my opinion.

I'm not understanding your point. I know Ricks was from Cali.
Ed Orgeron coached at USC and recruited Ricks before coming to LSU.
Ricks came to LSU because of Ed Orgeron

You can also argue many of those secondaries didn't perform to their expectations. Feel free to pull up the secondary numbers per year since 2016 under his coaching. They're not high at all. I'm actually surprised he didn't get heat more in Orgeron's tenure.
I can think of many games throughout those years his secondary was the reason we lost games. With talent. I think he had 1 good year and if my memory serve correct I think it was the 2016 season? You could argue the 2019 one was good as well despite numbers not backing them because they'd go to sleep with leads. They seemed to play better when their backs were against the wall.
His strength has always been his recruiting and evaluations. He can't really hold onto that strength in the NIL era due to bags being dropped so he's immediately kneecapped right there.

2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 were all very good defenses and DB play. All of them averaging below 200 yards a game passing besides 2019 when we won every game.
After the National Championship, his DBs were piss poor. He can take some blame, but the Head Coach lost the team like I’ve never seen before

How dumb is this question?
Equal to your qoute. You decide.
You said he's one of the greatest DB coaches of all time. How long is the list? 10, 20,50,100,300? Broad spectrum there chief. I'll get to the point, any list shorter than 100, Raymond ain't on it. That's probably being kind. He was good not great. Notice the word was. 4 years and counting he's been average.

Top 100 he’s not on it lmao. That’s stupid.

Some people just can’t grasp this concept. It’s amazing to me that this is still having to be explained while they continue to rag on Raymond.

He damn well better. That is what he was brought back for.

It's not all on Raymond if Oregon and Nike is offering way more for everyone services. What do you want him to do?
I do not know what they are offering in NIL or any numbers also. He has been back about 6 months also. We can complain and moan but end of day kids will make best decision they feel for them and they family. He is trying and going after Top CBs at this point that's all you can ask until he lands one.

We are in the lead for the #1 CB and the #6 CB right now Pickett and Antoine.
actually we are NOT in the lead for the #1 CB, and he's NOT coming to LSU
he is will be a DUCK $$$$$$
We are going to spend more, but insure Antoine stays at LSU

Pickett literally said Raymond was the reason LSU is in lead for him
was the reason, meaning the ONLY REASON he is on LSU's board?
In other words, he'd be a DUCK,
He's NOT NOT NOT NOT Coming.....
and
I HOPE, that i'm wrong, but i'm not
