Yeah, don't bash the kid on a personal level, but I didn't realize the recruiting board is getting closer to cult-like status
He's a Tiger now.. and you shouldn't bash any of them. Discuss their physical abilities and how they play.. sure. But that's not all of what is going on in this thread.

While I think Jernigan could play at end on passing downs, we have plenty of bigtime pass rushers to take care of that situation

I feel what you are saying Aggie but its one thing to have an opinion on what he needs to work on. But once he commits to say i wish we wouldnt accept his offer is F**ked up beyond all recognition.
We gripe and bitch when a kid that in the top 250 leaves state and chooses someone else. Now we are high and mighty and can blow off committs.
If you want to say he needs work fine. If you think he can switch positions I think ur a dumbass but you are entitled to that. Just dont disrespect the hardwork thsi kid put in to earn and LSU offer and dont disrepect the coaching staff for accepting his verbal.
I gaurantee you its 20-30 cometitive programs that would jumping and celebrating over this committment.
KARMA IS A BITCH my friend. When LSU didn't have the state locked up it was lot of crying and weeping going on. Let's maintain our state and keep Petrino, Saban, Muschamp, Chisik and Fischer out. And if that means taking a kid thats ranked 191 vs the kid that is ranked 29. so be it.
LSU will get great DT every year.

I don't know a lot about the players but obviously he is a good enough player that Les is giving him an offer and that is good enough for me. Welcome aboard Mickey and hope you have a great next 4 years (or 5 if you redshirt).
