Evans got offered by both those schools within the last week at camp

Jesus some people are really dumb on this board. Stop following recruiting services especially this early. They have 4 different recruiting sites and they are literally all over the place fhis year.

Yes I do, definitely on Evans, he has 30 offers and was down to LSU, Alabama, and Georgia. It’s nice to have a list of 5 & 4*s, but remember these are NON playing ball journalists that comprise these rankings. My go to is always to look at the real OFFER list from the real evaluators (coaches).
One note I remember is C Flott, Bama, Georgia, LSU, were all after this skinny CB from Alabama with a 3* ranking, camps and eyeball test make the player. If you’re going to put all emphasis on his ranking you’ll miss on a lot of recruits. O Miller was a top 10 4* WR until he camped at LSU and all the talk was just that TALK. He’s not at LSU nor did they want him. Nabers was #41 WR but LSU evaluated him differently and now he’s the #1 or 2 WR in the SEC. Watch the offer list guys, and oh yeah Flott 3rd round pick NFL.

Marcus Mascoll he is a talented OL project but still a project. I see him in the likes of Marcus Dumervll or Marlon Martinez. Either two year like Dummervll and he's in the portal or Martinez fighting to stay a back up.
Ondre Evans okay I think he's a SEC player and has all the abalities to do well here but I'd say he is very much like Dwight McGlothern. Not saying he's going to bolt for Arkansas but he similar in build and ranking with the potential to become a dude. Or he could be a Cordale Flott or Raydarious Jones.
Kylan Billiot, Terrebonne HS District 4-5A plays with the big boys and I love his size and how he caries his weight but he is a major project. I could compare him to Kenan Jones. Big body position kid who just never turned the corner but you hope he's the next Brian Thomas.

Why the hell does anybody care what Georgia or Bama are saying?
CBK and co. have proven they know how to evaluate and develop talent at all the different places they've all been... the difference now is that CBK can get a different caliber player than previously.
Trust the staff's evaluation, and stop making stupid comments.

A variation of your post should get an all time sticky. How many years do we have to have these same star power vs camp evaluations discussions? How many camp offers who go on to be stars at LSU do we need to see before the star gazers stop their low IQ trolling of this board every time a low profile kid blows up at camp in front of the coaches and gets an offer?

Yep, seems like his OV sealed the deal. I'm curious to see where we go on the OL in this class. Our numbers aren't great and we'll need to supplement with this class and the portal for next season.
