Where I can see it’s a good idea to always have OL. I just don’t understand why we don’t have this many high quality, DL visiting or interested

There are way less high quality DL prospects and it is way more competitive to land them. Probably the most sought after position behind QB.

There are way more of them, especially IOL, because it's a developmental position, generally.

Our offensive staff is like 10 out of 10 in recruiting, and our defensive staff is maybe a 4 out of 10 (generously). That’s why, sadly, lol.

I believe it is as simple as having Brad Davis as the OL position coach. The same is happening with Frank Davis' position. Some guys are just really good at recruiting.
