Don't get it twisted, Jalen Lee was a big fish. One of three big fish in Louisiana. He had offers from everyone just like Roy and Guillory

Lee was also never in doubt.
It's kinda like Leonard Fournette. No one gave Miles a whole lot of credit from taking Alabama down to the wire for Fournette. He was pretty much all LSU from day 1.

Taylor as well.
He held offers from Bama, UGA, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee.
Those schools don't offer just any 4 star.

This kids Brother is already at UGA. We are not getting him.
Have you let him and his family know? They drove to BR on their own dime for the second time in two months. You should contact them and inform them so they can save their time and money since the brother attends another college and they have no interest in LSU.

On Wednesday, Georgia four-star BJ Ojulari and his family made the drive to Baton Rouge for an unofficial visit, where they are spending the day with Johnson, his area recruiter, head coach Ed Orgeron, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and the rest of the staff. Ojulari holds an offer from the Tigers and last visited LSU's campus in April.

Glad to see meatball having a good year. He needs it after what happened the past two year. Oof.

And exactly what has Meatball proven?

And who the "F" cares what this board wants? They have nothing to do with the hiring and firing of LSU football coaches.
That’s not really true. Alleva kept Miles for another year because of fan reaction - much of it here. And Wade was brought back because of persistent pressure mostly from here.

The fan pressure only works if the actual controversy is indeed true or factual in some fashion.
There was plenty calling for the firing of Orgeron and even threatening to stop funding LSU. That sure didn’t work and actually IMO held the program back some. If it has that type of an affect on outcomes which I do believe it does given the right circumstances, then it surely has an affect on the recruiting aspect and how the program is perceived from outside, it from inside the fans don’t believe in what’s going on.
IMO Orgeron and this staff deserve lots of credit for having to fight this narrative locally, state wide, regionally and nationally. It made the momentum stall. He had to fight all the negative naysayers and prove it on the field. Yes he would have had to do this anyway but with the backing of the fans and people regionally he may have had more success recruiting OTs or DLman. Never know what the ramifications of all those threads, followed by articles had in the first two years.
He has beaten lots of top 25 team and even top 10 teams since taking over. They may not have ended the season with that ranking but they sure as hell were when we played them and they thought they were better than us at the time. Now teams will know LSU is for real and may feel more pressure to beat us. Add that to the talent we are now stacking up and that’s a great recipe for mistakes for our opponents.
I still think LSU could use another DL coach and that’s just my humble opinion. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong and I hope I am but this recruiting season hasn’t proven much IMO. If he does it again next year while we prove to be much more disruptive along the DL in 2019 then I’ll start to come around. LSU should be getting who they want on the DL. Maybe that will start from here on. I hope so.
That goes for our OL as well. Hopefully he can land some big time OTs to end this class on a very high note. We need them badly. I have a feeling we will. I think he might be a better coach then recruiter at the moment but maybe when his coaching is evident this year on the field his recruiting success will change for the better. I haven’t given up on them yet but another dry class and underwhelming season and I’m all but done with them. GT
