Coach Baker is aggressive, that should put a smile on the faces of our defensive commits

LSU’s commitments on defense will surely appreciate Coach Baker’s aggressive nature, no1. in the SEC in red zone touchdown percentage at 53.5%. You don’t earn that having a lame defense that doesn’t pressure much.

Our best teams were aggressive with man to man. I'm not a coach. I'm just a fan but I hate to see our team playing without heart or intensity. That's one thing that a player should have built into himself. Heart.

I like it.

I’ll like it even more if he doesn’t allow our defense to stand over an offensive player who just got a first down and beat their chest like they did some’n. Be aggressive but intelligent, and worry more about stopping the other team’s gain than the hit and the celebrating.
If you stop them short or better yet for negative yards, then definitely celebrate.

Coach Baker is a major factor of why Damone Clark was drafted by the cowgirls.
He developed him into a stud and based on his defensive stats at Missouri and the fact I've seen his coaching results with Clark I feel pretty damn good about the hire.with the amount of talent we have returning/arriving at the lb position alone gets me excited about the possibilities of our defense.
Geaux fkn tigers!!!

Does that entail confident island DB’s?

We have always had stud corners so we could play man. Those days are gone

Um that remains to be seen, but if you factor in the possibility that we will have more pressure on opposing QBs then you would have to think that our secondary would have to be better just from pressure alone. An uncomfortable pocket should result in forced mistakes.
Also who are the new def assistants going to be.
But I feel as of now we definitely took a major step forward for sure.
