Go get him, Frank!

John Hebert is an anomaly. The Strake Jesuit running back leads the state of Texas with an astounding 3,110 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns—but he has no cell phone. Hebert has no curated social media presence, no slow-motion hype videos, and no interest in the spotlight. As one of seven siblings, he’s learned to shy away from attention.
Go get him, Frank!

Dude is fast, wonder what the competition is like that he plays, seems his oline just dominates and he is a strong lightning fast rb that makes defense pay if they can’t get a hot on him behind los.
His stutter step is pretty bad arse with his speed and power to Run through arm tackles

Football is all you can say about this young man. Freak at the 4A level.
Would be a great slot back/receiver.

His dad, my first cousin, was drafted by the chargers out of college.
His grandfather, my uncle, was a RB at Tulane in the 70’s. The LSU players used to burn an effigy of him at practice.

He makes good reads and hits the holes that are there. Good speed, no dancing around - all business.

Pat Screen if I’m not mistaken.

No mention of his other five uncles that all at least made college rosters?

Johnny is a hell of a RB and kid. I don’t think he is LSU football material but a smaller school is going to get a heck of a player and “Man for others”.
Also, for those wondering and speculating about the competition, SJ plays 6A UIL with all the big boys in Texas. Strake Jesuit and Dallas Jesuit are the only 2 private schools in Texas that play UIL and they are both 6A.

I was just kidding in that earlier post, gentlemen. Jesuit is a fine institution of learning.
You can even start a sports website with a Jesuit degree.

Yeah, Strake Jesuit is a 6A school. The district isn't the toughest, but he put up over 200 yds and 2 TDs against Fulshear. Fulshear is 11-0 and ranked 9th in the state.
