The longer this drags out the more I’m open to securing Clark as the #1 and rolling with two more good options for backup.

Yeah but we still need a few QBs they need to lock this guy up imo. Looks like it's promising

I think he’s a good back up option.

Like 2nd string.

Clark is legit. Good size, huge arm, can run, seems super athletic. I agree on rolling with him at the 1.

frick that. We may end up in a situation where it’s an open competition in Spring, but there’s no way this guy is just handed anything but an opportunity.

All speculation at this point - let em battle and best guy wins

Let’s not overthink it. I will cry tears of joy when he rolls out and takes off, and throws to a wide open receiver right before he gets to the line of scrimmage

that is where we should be at this point in the fiasco. Chasing Leavitt around is about the worst negotiating ploy I've ever heard of, if that is what LK did.

Maybe not but I don't have a good feeling about Levitt especially after the misdiagnosis and playing on it for a month. It's already a very difficult injury to come back from. From what I've been told some never quite recover properly..

Absolutely agree, in now way would I hand anything to anyone, but this kid has intangibles and seems that with proper coaching could be great.

There is ni competition between Clark and Leavitt in the spring because Leavitt won’t be cleared to practice unril the summer. Clark and QB3 (ir QB4) will be taking spring practice snaps.
If its not Leavitt then its a competition

it's just amazing to me that the emergence of Chambliss has seemingly made everyone think that Kiffin has routinely taken chicken shite and made chicken salad... he is very much the oddity from Kiffin's career... almost every single QB Kiffin has had to work with was very highly recruited guys... he didn't "make" them...

winning lottery tickets are great, but at this point we are expecting Lane to hit like he did with Chambliss, with ANYONE he gets, and that's a fallacy...

Did he not battle with Chambliss? Kids can improve and excel when they get their opportunity.

he did, and he WON the starting QB spot, over Chambliss, to enter the year..
