Why wouldnt the kid want to compete for a championship. Either SEC or maybe evn BCS. Why go to Old Piss or state

Im pretty sure he has a sick family member (maybe even his Mom) that he wants to be closer too. As well as his friendships with the other top MS players.

I have not heard that at all.
His dad passed away, who was an MSU alumn, and that's why most thought he was off to MSU.
We'll see how this plays out. I'm not worried until it actually commits. He really likes LSU.

A Mississippi sports talk show was counting him as an Ole Miss commit yesterday. Said there are 7 to 8 top MS recruits who are trying to all go to the same school and 5 of them are already committed to Ole Miss including CJ. Said the only top MS recruit not jumping on the band wagon is a TE that is going to Alabama. I think the TE is from Picayune.

Thats it, sorry for the wrong info. Yeah he wants to be close to his mom.
And the relationships with the other MS players who are all about to pull the trigger for OM are helping tug him to Oxford.
I agree though, an LSU visit would put it back to about 50/50 IMO.

It will be a crazy numbers game come signing day if all these kids jump on board. It will be around 30 I imagine (We have some back counter JUCO guys).

I disagree with this. If he doesn't commit to OM this weekend and still plans to visit LSU, then it heavily favors LSU.
