He may end up an offensive tackle.

Not at 6'4" 240 lbs he wont. Kid needs to gain 50 lbs of muscle fast if he is ever going to line up at OC, OG, or OT in the SEC.

he was definitely talked about as a center early on in his recruitment. I wasn’t aware he was potentially moving to TE either

I dont Want to think of a smaller OT playing TE after firing Les Miles

Don’t ask me to think of that.

Yeah I think Ensmimger wants to use 12 personnel like he did in 2016.

how is Turner just a 3 *? I didn't know IMG had any 3's.

Moreau played more snaps at TE than any I've ever seen, so it may take a few guys to replace him. And we have zero proven. He's too small for OL right now, so why not?

Go look up Kevin Mawae’s size out of high school.

Yeah. I don't get that.

I'm in this site every day and I've never seen any mention of Turner starting out at TE. It definitely wasn't commonly talked about to the point where it's acceptable to be condescending to anyone who didn't know that.

I don’t post a ton but read this Board daily & I have never heard any discussion of C. Turner as anything other than a Center. First I heard TE was als out of O’s mouth this afternoon. This is a head scratcher for sure.

I was referring to the comment about his size. Mawae was 235 when he signed.

Besides Pettigrew coming off a torn ACL, we don't have anyone proven SEC caliber, so they're just trying to plug a hole.

Also, just because that's where they want to start him out doesn't mean he's spending his whole career there. I'm sure they're hoping he develops into a quality offensive lineman. This is probably the same plan they had for Parker.

Anyone have a current weight for this Tiger? I see 237-260 on the sites. And he's been listed at 260 for about a year on 247 (the highest weight).

Back then, I was thinking he should be at least 270 by signing day, and I do think he probably is either that or more right now.

Anyone know for sure?

I don't see a center with him. He was a tackle before switching this year, I believe. I hope we try to make him a tackle.

And I hope Ray Parker qualifies.

me too, Parker is the one that is Derrick Dillon in year one, than transition to a prototypical tackle after a little strength and conditioning.
