All have a good chance to start day 1 on this defense. They’ll add a much needed talent infusion this defense is flat out lacking dudes. Charles Ross will add much needed speed to the 2nd level, Philips/pickett will add much needed length and athleticism to the boundary that were lacking outside of zy and even he was getting ran by tonight. 2025 class we gotta find a way to hold it together

Not sure how Kelly holds it together after this shite show.

If that were the case Keys and Atkins would be on the field over a very limited Greg Penn.

It's not this shite show, but the last two shite shows, especially on defense. Why would recruits come to LSU with freaking Sloan as OC after seeing his playcalling which has actually gotten worse.

Dude I'm just hoping we keep these kids. In today's recruiting, a game like that can change a lot. Every recruiter for every other big school is texting those kids this morning saying "You wanna play for that?!"

worst outcome happened last night.
not only was it an embarrassing performance by his team, it was also a positive recruiting pitch for bama.
next time id rather lsu pay bama at 11am on a thursday w/ zero recruits in the stadium

Positive spin - the environment early on was absolutely insane. 113 decibels is deafening so recruits got to see what Tiger Stadium is and can be. Compare that to other places they’ll see and it’s not close.
Opportunity for early playtime + that kinda wild environment inside holds weight.

If that's the attitude why don't elite guys just go to the Big 12 or ACC and start for 4 straight years? Or just go to Miss. State and do the same thing against SEC competition?
That logic doesn't track for me - these kids wanna be developed and compete for titles. Last night didn't show we could do either for them.

That’s just the harsh reality of the program right now. I have no idea what we were thinking evaluating talent in 22 and 23.

Well that’s the reality of where we are at. We are sorely missing dudes on this defense. We did a poor job of recruiting Louisiana talent in the early years of BK. The reality is a lot of true freshmen of gonna have to play in 2025 cause they’ll be the most talented players in the room
